Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship

Welcome from the Program Director

Welcome to Methodist Health System cardiovascular fellowship program. The mission of our fellowship program is to train broadly competent, highly skilled cardiovascular specialists, who strive for clinical excellence and practice, equitable, compassionate, patient centered care. They will be lifelong learners and create an environment of learning that promotes and values diversity, collegiality, and individual well-being. Our fellows will train mainly at Methodist Dallas Medical Center and Dallas VA Medical Center. They get exposure to leading edge therapies in general cardiovascular diseases, Interventional Cardiology, Structural Heart Diseases, electrophysiology, cardiothoracic surgery and vascular surgery. There is a balance of graded autonomy and supervision. Fellows get an ample opportunity of learning in didactic lectures and interactive sessions. Faculty are dedicated to providing supervised, hands-on procedural experience. While learning is the keystone of our program, we emphasize on balancing family and personal life goals with work. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions.
