Southern Dallas County Fellowships

Specialty Medical Education at Methodist Health System

A fellowship program is a more specialized medical education program that typically follows a residency. This program is more focused on a particular area of medicine than a residency, and allows participates to receive hands-on experience in their chosen medical specialty. For example, if you have completed a residency in internal medicine, you may choose to follow it with a fellowship in cardiology, orthopedics, pulmonology, etc.
