Methodist named among America's Greatest Workplaces

DALLAS — Methodist Health System has been recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for 2025, recognizing its culture of respect, innovation, collaboration, and purpose – values that shape every corner of the healthcare provider, from the bedside to the boardroom.

“At Methodist, we are grateful for the consistent engagement of our staff, whose feedback continues to shape our employee value proposition and fosters a truly remarkable workplace experience,” said James C. Scoggin, Jr., Chief Executive Officer at Methodist. “We recognize that our unique culture is the cornerstone of our success, enabling us to provide the highest quality and most compassionate healthcare to our communities.”

Methodist earned a five-star rating, the top mark possible. In putting together this year's list, Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group conducted a comprehensive review process that included confidential employee interviews, company performance data, and the analysis of more than 120 key metrics, including workplace culture, compensation, work-life balance, training, and career progression.

“Building a workplace that acknowledges and respects each employee, physician, volunteer and leader has been paramount to our collective success,” said President and Chief Operating Officer Pam Stoyanoff, MBA, CPA, FACHE. “We are proud of what we have accomplished together and grateful to Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group for recognizing us.”

This annual list honors healthcare organizations across the country that foster professional development, support work-life balance, and prioritize the well-being of their employees. Methodist’s inclusion on the list highlights its ongoing efforts to create a supportive, mission-driven environment where people thrive.

Newsweek Editor-in-Chief Jennifer H. Cunningham stressed the importance of this recognition: “Companies that emphasize building a strong workplace environment see higher levels of employee engagement. And with higher employee engagement comes a wide range of benefits.”

“The incredible culture fostered by our people is Methodist’s secret sauce and is directly correlated to outstanding outcomes for our patients,” said Alen Brcic, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. “We are grateful to be named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces 2025 by Newsweek.”
