Becker's Hospital Review ranks Methodist Health System among the top 150 places to work in healthcare

Dallas, TX - Becker's Hospital Review ranked Methodist Health System among the top 150 places to work in healthcare in 2024, marking the 12th consecutive year the organization has achieved this honor.

The healthcare trade magazine uses editorial research and nominations from nationwide to create a list that highlights exceptional employers that are committed to promoting diversity, work-life balance and well-being, and engagement among employees.

Becker's also commended Methodist for winning the inaugural HX24 Health System of the Year award, a first-of-its-kind accolade presented by Press Ganey, an industry leader that works with more than 41,000 facilities nationwide to enhance patient care and caregiver resilience.

"We don't do what we do for awards, but it's a byproduct of our relentless pursuit of excellence," said James C. Scoggin, Jr., Chief Executive Officer of Methodist Health System. “This is a testament to the culture fostered at Methodist.”

What's more, Becker's list of top-ranked workplaces acknowledged Methodist's commitment to professional development and a healthy work-life balance. It highlighted the health system's generous tuition reimbursement program, offerings of discounted tickets to local events, and the litany of leadership intensives and online training courses provided to employees.

“It’s always an honor to be recognized nationally by Becker’s,” said Pam Stoyanoff, MBA, CPA, FACHE, President and Chief Operating Officer. “But to me, the real accomplishment here is sustaining this level of employee engagement and satisfaction for a dozen years!”

Becker’s list is intended to shine a spotlight on hospitals, health systems, and healthcare companies that have a positive impact on the lives of their employees and communities. A full list of chosen employers can be found here.
