Fitness Classes

Find the exercise class that's right for you

Check out some of the exercise and aerobic classes offered at the Folsom Fitness Center. All classes are offered in person, a few of the classes also include a digital option. Please contact us for the current schedule.

Functionally Fit

Maintaining and gaining strength for daily activities is an important part of life! This class will help you do just that through the use of body weight, light hand weights and resistance exercises for your upper and lower body.

Chair Yoga

This class provides instruction on how you can benefit from yoga while seated. Expect a blend of postures that stretch and strengthen while encouraging healthy alignment and stress relief. Both seated and standing chair assisted exercises included. All mobility levels welcome.

Yoga for Energy

Move through an effective series of postures, breath work and dynamic exercises designed to invigorate and energize you towards the beginning of your week.

Yogi-lates

A yoga and Pilates fusion class which is a combination of all- floor and mat exercises, body work, weights, cardio, Pilates core and yoga breath work and stretch/alignment.

Yoga- Deep Stretch

Postures are held for longer periods of time to allow the body to let go, relax, and release for muscle recovery and gaining flexibility in the connective tissues. The class stays down to the floor- there are no standing postures or balances.

Full Body Fit

This class is to help you in all areas of fitness: muscular endurance/strength, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility and body composition. You will use a variety of equipment as well as experience different formats (i.e. circuit training, supersets.) All fitness levels welcome.

Core Blast!

Much more to the core than “the six pack!” 15 minutes of focusing on the functions of the “corset”!

Buns & Guns

Mix up your routine! This is a muscular strength and endurance based class. You will be utilizing various pieces of equipment as well as body weight. (Home items may be used in place of dumbbells.)
