The Guild began hosting a Spring Style Show and Luncheon in the 1930s. Held every April, the event now includes about 250 guests and raises money through the sale of raffle tickets and a silent auction. This fun event has enabled the Guild to donate as much as $50,000 to Methodist Health System Foundation.
The fall poinsettia sale is another longstanding Guild tradition. Beautiful plants of various sizes and colors are available for pre-order and delivered after Thanksgiving direct from a local grower.
2023 was the first year for the Casino Night Fundraiser. The event was held at the historic Turner House in Oak Cliff and raised more than $17,000.
The Guild partnered with Oak & Lily Gift Shop to sponsor a sale for Dr. James Moody's book, On Call. In the past, fundraising sales were held in June and December on the Methodist Dallas Medical Center campus. The June sale featured jewelry, fragrances, purses and more. A huge multi-vendor in December added electronics, shoes, linens, and many other items. The Guild also raised money through a Booze and Bingo Party.
