Methodist Mansfield Medical Center helps student athletes

Doctors provide critical screenings for Midlothian ISD athletics

Methodist Mansfield’s physicians and nurses are volunteering their time to help Midlothian ISD athletes get a start on the upcoming season. The hospital is teaming with district officials to offer sports physicals and echocardiograms at Midlothian Heritage High School this Saturday. The sports physicals will be led by Jeff McDaniel, MD, sports medicine family health physician on the Methodist Mansfield medical staff. Cardiologist Alan Taylor, MD, will perform the echocardiograms.

Saturday, May 20, 2017 9 a.m. to noon

Video Opportunities:
There will be hundreds of athletes and their parent’s participating in the athletic physical exams and echo’s. The echo’s are offered free to the community from 9 a.m. to noon by appointment by calling 682-242-6400 and the sports physicals are $20 with all proceeds going directly to the athletic department.
