Methodist Mansfield Auxiliary

The Methodist Mansfield Medical Center Auxiliary was formed in 2006 when Methodist Mansfield Medical Center opened. This Auxiliary’s goal is to support the hospital staff, patients, and communities that the hospital serves through fundraising efforts and volunteerism. Since its inception, the Methodist Mansfield Auxiliary has volunteered more than 160,000 hours of service and raised over $350,000 for programs, services, and capital campaigns.

Programs and services the Auxiliary supports

  • Women’s Center.
  • The Breast Center at Methodist Mansfield and monogrammed scrubs for staff.
  • Methodist Mansfield Medical Center – Tower B expansion.
  • Adult scholarships to employees to further their education in the medical field.
  • Funds for medical mission trips to Guatemala.
  • Methodist hospital staff Christmas party.
  • American flags for the Veteran’s Final Salute program.
  • Various medical and system equipment.
  • Meals for the medical staff.
  • Meals for the Methodist Mansfield police department.

Methodist Mansfield Auxiliary scholarships

In 2015, the Methodist Mansfield Auxiliary started a Junior Scholarship program for high school seniors who volunteer 100 hours or more at the hospital. This scholarship was made possible through the generous donation of Ron Hopton-Jones in memory of his wife, Linda. Linda Hopton-Jones was a beloved past president of the Methodist Mansfield Auxiliary.
