About Tina M. Joseph, DO

Tina Joseph, DO, was born in Kerala, India, and moved to the U.S. during her early high school years. She has now called the DFW Area home for more than a decade. Dr. Joseph attended George Fox University in Oregon for her undergraduate degree, and earned her medical degree from The University of North Texas Health Science Center - Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Joseph completed her residency in family medicine from Methodist Charlton Medical Center, where she received the Outstanding Resident Teaching Award. Dr. Joseph also completed an integrative medicine certification program through the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine via the University of Arizona during her residency.

Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Joseph has a special interest in preventive medicine, chronic disease management, joint injections, and women’s health, including contraception, Nexplanon insertion and removal, and pap smears. She also manages hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, obesity, chronic respiratory disease, seasonal allergies, osteoarthritis, common musculoskeletal conditions, common skin conditions, behavioral health and pediatric care.

Outside of work, Dr. Joseph enjoys reading historical fiction, traveling, interior design, and spending time with her husband and children. In addition to her many other strengths, Dr. Joseph is fluent in Malayalam and is familiar with Hindi.
