About Loren S. Albritton, DO

Nashville native, Loren Albritton, DO, is a board certified internal medicine primary care physician. Dr. Albritton attended Southern Methodist University-Dedman College of Humanities and Sciences for her undergraduate degree in both biology and Spanish. Dr. Albritton then spent two years working as a medical scribe in the ER before completing her graduate degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She then earned her medical degree at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine-University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, followed by an internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Northeast/ CHRISTUS Good Shepard Medical Center in Longview, TX.

Prior to joining Methodist Family Health Center – Highland Park, Dr. Albritton treated patients in the Dallas Area, including two years as a hospitalist at Methodist Richardson Medical Center.

As an internist, Dr. Albritton specializes in treating patients over the age of 18 with well checks, preventive care, management of chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure. She enjoys establishing a relationship with her patients and helping them feel empowered about their health.

Outside of work, Dr. Albritton enjoys the staying active by talking walks and riding her Peleton™, and spending time with her friends and family.
