About Linah K. Mairura, MD

Linah Mairura, MD, is a board certified family medicine physician with special interests in chronic disease management, pediatrics, and women’s health.

Dr. Mairura obtained her medical degree from The Ohio State School of Medicine, and completed her residency at the University of Minnesota, St. Johns Family Residency Program in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she was Chief Resident.

As a family medicine physician, Dr. Mairura treats patients of all ages with well checks and preventive care. She can treat acute conditions such as sinus infections and injuries, as well as help patients manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure. Providing care to patients within the same family allows her to offer a comprehensive view of each individual’s health and family life.

Prior to joining Methodist Family Health Center in Cedar Hill, Dr. Mairura was in practice in Midlothian, Texas. When she is not working, Dr. Mairura enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, traveling and reading.
