About Dino Cekro, MD

Dino Cekro, MD, is a board certified internal medicine physician who specializes in the management of chronic conditions, heart disease, and pulmonary infections. He also sees trauma patients following hospitalization.

Dr. Cekro earned a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, Texas. He then received his Medical Degree from St. Matthew’s University Medical School in Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman. Dr. Cekro completed his internal medicine residency at Valleywise Health Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

Dr. Cekro grew up in Bosnia, before moving to the United States as a wartime refugee in 1997. He has lived in Texas for many years and began practicing medicine in 2014.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Cekro enjoys spending time with his wife and three children – two sons and one daughter. He can be found playing soccer and football, or vacationing at the beach.
