Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapists help patients recovering from illnesses or injuries. The main objective is to help patients develop, improve and maintain skills they need to live more independently in their everyday life.

Physical Therapy

Our physical therapists help patients improve their strength, mobility and function, whether they have an orthopedic condition, injury or are recovering from surgery.

    • There are many products out there geared toward managing incontinence, but few actually treat the source of the problem. That’s where Methodist Mansfield Medical Center’s pelvic floor rehabilitation program is different. We empower men or women with individualized tools to improve or eliminate their incontinence and experience a better quality of life. Our program can also help with pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, and pregnancy and postpartum issues.

Speech Therapy

Our speech language pathologists treat a range of language, speech and swallowing disorders. Your speech language pathologist will conduct a thorough evaluation to determine the best treatment options for your specific needs.

Speech Therapy Treatments

  • Speech, language, and cognitive treatment
  • Swallow treatment – VitalStim®
  • Modified barium swallow study
  • Voice therapy
  • Augmentative communication for people who have lost the ability to express needs verbally, including post-laryngectomy patients
  • Dysphagia treatment for individuals with swallowing problems.

A physician's referral is required to begin treatment. Patients may be referred by their personal physicians or specialist.
