If you experience chest pain or shortness of breath, experienced emergency medicine doctors and nurses stand ready to help. Ambulances can reach our facility in minutes. With heart imaging steps from the emergency department, you receive a prompt evaluation. We also quickly coordinate treatment to restore blood flow to your heart.
A specially trained cardiologist on the medical staff evaluates and treats narrowed arteries with minimally invasive procedures. Using tiny instruments and real-time imaging, we detect areas of reduced blood flow and treat them by inflating a small balloon to push buildups out of the way. We may also place a tiny mesh tube (stent) in the artery to keep it open.
You may need this type of procedure to prevent future heart issues. It’s also available for cardiac emergencies, like a heart attack.
Imaging is available on-site, making it easier to get the services you need. We offer echocardiograms, which use sound waves to show how well your heart is working. More advanced tests, like nuclear medicine scans, help us evaluate how well blood flows to your heart. Find out more about imaging and radiology.
We often catch the early signs of heart disease and coordinate services to lower your heart attack risk. Primary care providers deliver some of these services, including checking your blood pressure and cholesterol. They also help you make heart-healthy lifestyle changes. If you need additional services, we refer you to an on-staff cardiologist for a closer look.
The best heart disease care often starts early, before many people experience symptoms. Want to know if you should see a cardiologist?
