Our obstetrician and neonatologist team treats complex medical conditions and complications that affect pregnant mothers, unborn babies, and newborns.
Methodist Richardson is a designated Level III maternity center (Level IV is the highest designation) by the Texas Department of State Health Services. We’re prepared to provide specialized care for health complications that may affect you or your baby during pregnancy, labor, or delivery.
If your doctor tells you that your pregnancy is high-risk, we closely monitor the health of you and your baby. We treat underlying conditions to help reduce the risk of complications and encourage natural labor. However, your doctor may recommend a Cesarean section (C-section) if they feel it is important for you and your baby.

We are also a designated drop-off location for Mother’s Milk Bank of North Texas. If you aren’t able to breastfeed, you may qualify to receive donated breast milk.
Many families choose us for labor and delivery because of the amenities we provide in our birthing center. In addition to our skilled labor and delivery team providing care, we prioritize your comfort and peace of mind.
