Orthopedic Conditions We Treat

Orthopedic specialists at Methodist Midlothian care for people with conditions that cause pain, stiffness, and limited mobility. We treat injuries and conditions affecting the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles. Our specialties include:

  • Arthritis and other chronic orthopedic conditions
  • Broken bones, sprains, strains, and soft-tissue injuries
  • Orthopedic trauma injuries
  • Sports-related injuries and concerns, such as shoulder pain and foot and ankle problems

Orthopedic Treatments We Offer

At Methodist Midlothian, we offer nonsurgical treatments and surgical care, and we tailor each treatment plan to your lifestyle and goals. Our team uses casts, braces, and splints to treat broken bones, sprains, and other injuries. We also specialize in surgery to treat injuries resulting from accidents and overuse.

If you need a total hip replacement or total knee replacement, look no further. We are skilled at minimally invasive joint replacement procedures. We also provide you with the support you need to thrive following surgery.

Robotic-assisted joint replacement surgery

Our orthopedic surgical team has specialized training in robotic-assisted techniques to perform joint replacements. During a robotic-assisted procedure, the surgeon controls tiny surgical tools using a robot. The robot enables the surgeon to be more precise.

With this advanced technology, we can replace hip and knee joints through smaller incisions than traditional (open) joint replacement surgery. These techniques have a lower risk of complications and typically involve a shorter recovery period.
