Cody Hunter, MHA, FACHE, President of Methodist Celina Medical Center

Cody was born and raised in Austin, Texas before moving to College Station, Texas to pursue higher education. He received a BS in Biomedical Science with a focus on human medicine from Texas A&M University and graduated with cum laude Honors. He then went on to pursue his Masters in Health Administration (MHA) from Texas A&M Health Science Center and graduated with Honors from that program as well. During his 6 years in College Station, Cody held a variety of positions at College Station Medical Center including Director of the Emergency Department Clinical Scribe program and Project Manager for their Chest Pain Center Accreditation program. During his graduate studies he had the opportunity to work at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina where he assisted in the establishment of a medical home pilot for high-risk and under-insured patients. He was also an active member in Alpha Phi Omega and contributed hundreds of hours of community service to the Bryan/College Station communities.

After completing his education, Cody was selected to be a Fellow within The Houston Methodist Hospital System in Houston, Texas. This Fellowship was the beginning of his 11 year journey with the #1 hospital in Texas where he designed, built and operated hospitals across the greater Houston metroplex. Additionally, Cody led system-wide improvement efforts that resulted in more than $40M annually of bottom line improvement for the health system. Through his years of service in Houston, Cody was able to support the system vision of being unparalleled and his efforts led to Houston Methodist and its various hospitals regularly being recognized nationally for quality, safety and patient outcomes.

In 2021 Cody was called home to family in the DFW area where he joined Methodist Health System. In his initial role with the health system, Cody was selected as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Methodist Richardson Medical Center and Methodist Hospital for Continuing Care, both located in Richardson, Texas. In this role Cody had leadership responsibility for all non-nursing operations for both campuses and championed efforts for continued growth and expansion alongside the CEO. In late 2023, Cody was selected as the first President of Methodist Celina Medical Center – a $237M hospital project located in Northern Collin County. Cody is currently leading efforts to complete construction, recruit & grow a community of exceptional medical staff and bring Methodist’s vision, values and care commitments to the fastest growing part of the United States.

On a personal note, Cody actively mentors numerous MHA students and is an avid Texas A&M football fan. He has been married for 10 years to his beautiful wife Cara and they have, one son (Cayson, 8), one daughter (Caylee, 4) and two wonderful dogs (Roxy and Shiner).

Robin Winebar, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, CNL,CPHQ, Chief Nursing Officer, Vice President of Nursing, Methodist Celina Medical Center

Robin Winebar, a native of McKinney, Texas, has deep roots in her hometown and is excited to serve the neighboring community of Celina. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Behavioral Science from The Ohio State University in 2007. After graduation, Robin began her career at an insurance company but quickly realized her true calling was in nursing. This insight prompted her to pursue a path that would allow her to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

In 2011, Robin graduated from Xavier University with a Master’s Degree in Nursing. She dedicated many years to bedside care in Progressive Care and Women’s Services, particularly in Labor & Delivery, where her passion for quality care and leadership began to flourish. Throughout her career, Robin has taken on various leadership roles, collaborating closely with fellow nurses and healthcare leaders to enhance patient safety and quality of care. Her most recent position as Chief Nursing Officer at Methodist McKinney Hospital, a surgical specialty facility, further solidified her commitment to dynamic leadership and quality improvement in healthcare settings.

In 2023, Robin achieved her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership from Baylor University. With a wealth of experience and a strong vision for nursing excellence, she is eager to build and lead the nursing leadership team at Methodist Celina Medical Center. Robin is particularly focused on fostering an environment of empowered nursing staff and delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring that the highest standards of nursing practice are met in her community.
