Laurette P. Femnou Mbuntum, MD

Laurette Mbuntum, MD, is an interventional cardiologist. Dr. Mbuntum obtained her medical degree from the prestigious Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed her residency and fellowships at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. She is the Associate Program Director of Cardiovascular Fellowship Program.

Dr. Mbuntum is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases, as well as special training in interventional cardiology. Dr. Mbuntum treats cardiology issues such as coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, valvular disease and hypertensive heart disease. Dr. Mbuntum has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of women’s heart disease and heart conditions during and after pregnancy. Dr. Mbuntum is fluent in English and French.
