About Conner C. McDaniel, MD
Texas native, Conner McDaniel, MD, is a trauma surgeon who has been serving patients since 2015. Dr. McDaniel attended Abilene Christian University for his bachelor’s degree, and earned his medical degree from The University of Texas School of Medicine at San Antonio. Following graduation, Dr. McDaniel completed his General Surgery Residency at Louisiana State University Health Shreveport, and pursued specialized training through his Trauma and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.
Board certified in general surgery, Dr. McDaniel specializes in trauma survivorship, traumatic brain injuries, and surgical critical care. He also treats blunt and penetrating traumatic injuries, symptomatic gallstones and cholecystitis, acute internal and abdominal wall hernias, visceral perforation and pneumoperitoneum, peritonitis, necrotizing soft tissue infections, compartment syndrome, and complicated diverticulitis. Outside of work, Dr. McDaniel enjoys running, reading, skiing, playing jazz trumpet and piano, and spending time with his wife and their son.
