The Head and Neck Surgical Oncology program at Methodist Health System offers patients comprehensive and collaborative care for various head and neck cancers. We support our patients at every stage of treatment, from initial diagnosis to post-cancer recovery. The program offers treatment for the following head and neck cancers:

Gastrointestinal, or GI, cancer is a disease that affects the digestive tract organs, which include the stomach, intestine, pancreas, colon, liver, rectum, and more. Methodist treats the following types of GI cancers:

The oncology nurses at Methodist Mansfield are chemotherapy certified by the Oncology Nursing Society.

Clinical Trials and Research

Our system of care includes research and clinical trials for many conditions. Through these trials, patients may have access to innovative treatments for cancer. 

We coordinate all of our research through the Methodist Health System Clinical Research Institute. This central institute brings together multiple specialties to support research and clinical trials throughout our hospitals.
