Tara Sanders MSN,APRN,ACNP-BC

Tara Sanders has worked in healthcare since 2005. She began her career as a Registered Dietitian and then transitioned to nursing in 2007. She then went on to her pursue her Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and graduated in 2009. Upon graduation, she became a board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Focusing primarily on Critical Care, she has worked in various Intensive Care Units with a variety of patient populations. She worked on the front-line of COVID-19 throughout the pandemic.

In 2023, she joined the Methodist Thoracic Surgery Team. She enjoys working with patients and helping them achieve their health goals. In her spare time she enjoys a plethora of nieces and nephews, her pups, and gardening.
