About Steven B. Morgan, MD
Steven Morgan, MD, is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in general orthopedic surgery with a subspecialty certification in orthopedic sports medicine. He graduated Cum Laude from West Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science majoring in biology and chemistry, then received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, graduating with high honors. He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society while at UTMB.
Dr. Morgan completed a transitional internship at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, then pursued residency training at the University of Tennessee/Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee. After finishing his orthopedic surgery residency in 1999, he spent 3 years on active duty in the United States Navy in Bremerton, Washington, before coming to Allen, Texas in 2002. He is a licensed pilot, and enjoys skiing and spending time with his family outside of the clinic.
Dr. Morgan is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the Texas Medical Association.
