About Sozit (Niya) Yousuf, PA-C
Sozit (Niya) Yousuf, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant. She has a focus in seeing patients as part of a multidisciplinary inpatient surgical team pre and post operatively. She specializes in assisting gastrointestinal surgeries of all types, including robotically-assisted surgery, advanced procedures for GI conditions and cancers.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Baylor University. Following graduation, Ms. Yousuf completed her Master of Physician Assistant Practice from the Keck School of Medicine at University of Southern California.
Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Ms. Yousuf has a special interest in malignant and benign diseases of the liver, gallbladder, bile duct, pancreas, esophagus, stomach, and gastrointestinal tract.
Outside of work, Ms. Yousuf enjoys spending time with family and friends. She can be found exploring local coffee shops, baking, and taking Pilates classes in her free time.
