About Sherry L. Sixta, MD
Board certified in surgical critical care, Sherry Sixta, MD, has been a trauma specialist since 2013. Her specialized training and experience provides her the expertise to treat patients with critical injuries and illnesses, perform emergency surgeries, and provide life-saving intervention when necessary. Dr. Sixta obtained her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, and then advanced her specialization by completing an Acute Care Surgery and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at The University of Texas Health Sciences and Memorial Hermann Hospital, Houston, Texas.
