Meet Dr. Nasser Askari, DO

Nasser Dean Askari, DO, a board-certified internal medicine physician and pediatrician at Methodist Family Health Center – Lake Prairie in Grand Prairie. He takes an individualized approach to care, emphasizing preventative medicine and supporting patient’s overall health and wellness. 

Dr. Askari treats a wide range of medical conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, hypothyroidism, GERD, anxiety, and depression. He provides care for patients of all ages.

Dr. Askari’s interest in medicine was shaped by his family and a desire to help others. Growing up with a mother who was an elementary school teacher and a father who was an engineer, he developed an appreciation for understanding individual needs and problem solving. These values continue to influence his approach to patient care.  

Outside of medicine, Dr. Askari enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons, watching movies, playing soccer, and coaching his sons’ soccer teams. He also plays the violin with the Mansfield Philharmonic.
