About Moncy Varkey, DO
Moncy Varkey, DO, is an experienced primary care physician who has served his patients since 2012. Dr. Varkey earned his undergraduate degree from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA, and his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Varkey completed his residency in family medicine at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown, PA.
With special interests in geriatrics, well visits, chronic conditions, and pediatrics, Dr. Varkey built the cornerstone of his practice on communication and education. He spends time talking to patients and educating them about their conditions because he feels that if patients have a better understanding of their health, they are more capable of managing it and proactive in health related decisions. Dr. Varkey also offers in-office procedures, such as, joint injections, skin biopsies, skin tag removals, draining abscesses, and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment.
Outside of work, Dr. Varkey enjoys watching movies, playing video games, running, biking, staying active in his church, and spending time with his wife and their two young children.
