MaKenzie Morrissey, MD, is a board certified general surgeon. She is a full-scope surgeon, but has a particular interest in robotic and laparoscopic abdominal procedures, including gallbladder, hernia, colon and small bowel surgeries. Dr. Morrissey is also able to surgically remove skin and soft tissue lesions.
Dr. Morrissey earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma. She then received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, where she graduated with highest honors. Dr. Morrissey completed her general surgery residency at Medical City in Plano, Texas.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Morrissey enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, Lucy and Nica. She can be found staying active through scuba diving, golfing, rock climbing, and yoga.
