Meet Lucas Mcgee, MD

Dr. McGee is originally from Fyffe, Alabama, a rural farming community in the northeastern part of the state. He grew up on a poultry and cattle farm before attending Auburn University (War Eagle!), where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences. 

Following his undergraduate studies, he attended the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, AL. He then completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Louisville Department of Family & Geriatric Medicine in Louisville, KY. He has spent the last few years practicing both outpatient and academic medicine in Fort Collins, CO and Dallas, TX. His clinical interests include adolescent medicine, sports medicine, family planning, and care of the LGBTQ+ community. 

When not at work, he and his partner Luke enjoy traveling, skiing, exploring the outdoors with their dog Mo, and staying active with Crossfit and Hyrox.
