About Lena Gerecht, PhD, NCSP
Lena Gerecht, PhD, NCSP, is a licensed psychologist who provides services as a transplant psychologist for the Liver Institute at Methodist Dallas. She can diagnose and evaluate mental and emotional disorders in patients undergoing evaluation for solid organ transplant or those who are awaiting transplant.
Gerecht received an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Houston in Houston, Texas, where she graduated with high honors. She continued her education at University of Houston to receive a Master of Education in counseling and a PhD in School Psychology.
Gerecht has been in practice since 2020. She previously served as Medical Director of Psychology for the Methodist San Antonio Transplant Program.
