About Lauren D. Ausama, MD
Lauren Ausama, MD, centers her practice on intentionally listening and engaging with patients in order to create a collaborative approach to their healthcare. Dr. Ausama graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana, earned her master’s degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, and attended medical school at Texas A&M University Health Science Center. Following graduation, She completed both her internship and residency in internal medicine at Texas Health Resources - International Medicine Department.
With a special interest in treating chronic conditions, such as hypertension and diabetes, Dr. Ausama also offers preventative medicine, well-woman checkups, and geriatric care for Medicare patients, and preoperative clearance. Outside of work, she enjoys expressing her creativity through fashion and home improvement projects and spending time with her family.
