About Khoi T. Tran, DO
Khoi T. Tran, DO is a board-certified family medicine physician providing care and treatment for long-term medical conditions and urgent concerns. He began practicing medicine in 2018 and joined Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in 2025.
In addition to typical family medicine care, Dr. Tran specializes in osteopathic manipulative medicine, emphasizing cranial osteopathic manipulative therapy (OMT). OMT involves a hands-on system of stretches and pressure to help relieve or prevent pain.
Dr. Tran’s interest in OMT led to his research on the use of OMT for people with chronic migraines. He has brought his research and training to volunteer work, frequently offering OMT and other care during health fairs and outreach events.
Dr. Tran approaches care by treating the whole patient, considering mental, emotional and social concerns as well as physical ones. He was inspired to practice medicine by his father, who was a military physician in Vietnam.
When he isn’t treating patients, Dr. Tran may be found volunteering at his church. He also enjoys gardening, music, and photography.
