About Kai-Soon Yang, MD

Plano native, Dr. Kai-Soon David Yang, MD, is a primary care physician who graduated from the University of Texas in Austin, and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas School of Medicine in San Antonio. Dr. Yang has been in the Methodist Health System family since the start of his career. Following graduation, Dr. Yang completed his residency training through the Methodist Family Medicine Residency Program, and worked at the Methodist Charlton Medical Center location before joining the Methodist Family Health Center in Firewheel.

Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Yang also pursued specialized training to earn his Integrative Medicine Certificate. Dr. Yang treats patients of all ages needing preventive care or general family medicine. With a special interest in sports medicine, Dr. Yang can also treat and prevent sports-related injuries and conduct sports physicals required by the school system. In addition to his clinical pursuits, Dr. Yang enjoys tennis, sand volleyball, fantasy football, and playing board games with friends and family.
