About Jyoti Bharti, MD

Jyoti Bharti, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained geriatrician and family medicine physician. She provides preventive care and wellness services as well as treatment for chronic and short-term illness. She specializes in managing conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and thyroid disorders. She also focuses on mental health care, including depression, anxiety, and ADHD screenings; obesity and weight management; migraine; hormone treatment, including for perimenopause and menopause; and contraceptive care. Dr. Bharti speaks English and Hindi.

Dr. Bharti's choice of family medicine with a specialty in geriatrics comes from her love of building long-term relationships with patients and caring for entire families. She enjoys helping people with health challenges and wellness goals at every stage of life, including as they age. She finds it rewarding to help older adults manage the complexities of aging. In addition to treating illness and providing wellness education, she supports her older patients’ independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Dr. Bharti’s father inspired her to become a physician by believing in her intelligence and abilities and encouraging her to practice medicine. As the first girl in her family to pursue higher education, she felt especially driven to achieve her goals. As a physician, Dr. Bharti delivers evidence-based medicine and care while listening to her patients’ goals and concerns. She works in partnership with patients, always sharing in the decision-making process and treating them with empathy and compassion.

Dr. Bharti spends her free time engaging with music — especially singing — and watching movies.
