About Christine Hemphill, MD
Christine Hemphill, MD, is a board certified obstetrician gynecologist. She specializes in medical and surgical NaProTECHNOLOGY®, which is an approach to women’s health that takes into account a patient’s fertility cycle to address gynecological concerns. Dr. Hemphill is an experienced robotically-assisted and minimally invasive surgeon, who has a surgical focus on endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, tubal reconstruction, and adhesion treatment and prevention which she treats utilizing the restorative surgical technique pelvioplasty.
Dr. Hemphill earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina. She received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Hemphill completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Pitt County Memorial Hospital at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She then received fellowship training in Medical and Surgical NaProTECHNOLOGY® at Pope Paul VI Institute in Omaha, Nebraska.
Originally from South Carolina, Dr. Hemphill has called several states in the US home, including Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Virginia, and North Carolina. She moved from South Carolina and is happy to call North Texas home. Dr. Hemphill is excited to join Methodist Women’s Health Specialists – Celina to serve her new hometown community. She has been practicing since 2011.
Outside of work, Dr. Hemphill enjoys spending time with her husband, ten children, and their family pets. She can also be found trying new healthy recipes and supporting her children at their various extracurricular activities, including baseball, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, swimming, theater, and band.
