About Arame Thiam Diouf, MD, FACOG
Arame Thiam Diouf, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) physician dedicated to providing evidence-based comprehensive women’s health care, with a special emphasis on obstetrics. She offers a full range of services, including well-woman exams, preventive screenings, contraceptive management, preconception counseling, and management of high-risk pregnancies. She also performs in-office procedures and minor gynecologic surgeries.
Dr. Thiam Diouf obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology and French from the University of Texas at Austin in Austin, Texas. She then went on to earn her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Thiam Diouf completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Thiam Diouf is certified in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, as well as the da Vinci Surgical System for gynecologic surgery. She has been in medical practice since 2021, and is fluent in both French and Wolof.
Dr. Thiam Diouf is grew up in Senegal, West Africa before moving to Houston, Texas in 2000. She enjoys gardening, practicing Pilates, and reading. Dr. Thiam Diouf can also be found spending time with her husband and two daughters.
