About Andrew Morrissey, DO
Andrew Morrissey, DO, is an internal medicine doctor focusing on preventive and personalized medicine. He builds strong relationships with patients, helping to guide them toward their most important health goals.
Dr. Morrissey’s patients at Methodist Medical Group – Trophy Club come to him for compassionate listening as well as his medical expertise. Dr. Morrissey values discussing his patients’ health stories and helping them write new ones through personalized care plans. The variety of conditions he sees helps to keep his clinical knowledge at the leading edge.
While in medical school, Dr. Morrissey cofounded and codirected the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Georgia HEARTS Student Clinic. The organization provides free healthcare support and social assistance to Suwanee, Georgia, community members who have a low-income level or who don’t have health insurance.
Dr. Morrissey’s professional interests range beyond his clinical medicine practice. He is also interested in the business side of healthcare, including leadership, medical practice management, and entrepreneurship. He keeps up with and learns about subjects including medical economics and healthcare pricing, healthcare operations and efficiency, and information technology. He is a member of the American Association for Physician Leadership and the American College of Physicians.
During his free time, Dr. Morrissey enjoys relaxing in nature, especially on hiking trails. He loves spending time with his family, including their pet dog and cat.
