About Andrew Morrissey, DO
Dr. Morrissey is an Internal Medicine physician with experience managing the spectrum of illness, from very sick patients in the hospital to well patients undergoing preventive screenings in the office. He has coordinated specialty services and provided primary care for patients with complex medical conditions such as organ transplantation (liver, kidney, heart, pancreas), heart failure, liver cirrhosis, cancer, traumatic injury, autoimmune diseases and more. Some common conditions that he helps patients with include high blood pressure, diabetes, weight concerns, heart disease and migraines.
Dr. Morrissey truly enjoys getting to know his patients. He is known for being thorough and was trained to always put the patient first. As such, Dr. Morrissey is a fierce advocate for his patients and strives to help each patient achieve their health goals. He challenges himself to always listen, care, and be present for each patient.
For the past 3 and ½ years, Dr. Morrissey has called the north Fort Worth area home. He recently moved to Northlake, TX with his family, where he enjoys grilling, visiting local coffee shops and dining at new restaurants in the area. Before moving to Texas, he completed medical and business school in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
