About Anas Alomar, MD

Dr. Alomar treats a variety of conditions, including complex coronary interventions especially via the radial artery (arm) approach. He has a keen interest in caring for patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD). This includes treatment of atherosclerosis in the lower extremities, upper extremities and renal arteries utilizing percutaneous interventional (nonsurgical) procedures. He performs limb salvage procedures to restore blood flow to the legs and feet in patients with advanced peripheral arterial disease. Such procedures facilitate wound healing in ulcers arising from poor blood supply and can obviate the need for amputation or surgery. Dr Alomar also has an interest in venous disease including catheter-directed treatment of venous thrombosis in the lower extremities, upper extremities and pulmonary arteries. He performs procedures to treat venous insufficiency and varicose veins as well.

A native of Houston, Texas, Dr. Alomar is fluent in Arabic, and English.
