About Amelia C. Wayhs, MD
Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Wayhs also holds a master’s degree from the University of Texas School of Public Health. She earned her medical degree from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina Medical School, Florianopolis, Brazil and then completed her residency at University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio, McAllen Medical Center, McAllen, Texas.
Dr. Wayhs sees patients of all ages and has special interests in preventive medicine and the treatment of acute and chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and sinusitis.
In her spare time, Dr. Wayhs enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family.
