DALLAS — Methodist Health System has been recognized among Time magazine's Best Companies for Future Leaders for 2026, underscoring for a second straight year an "exceptional dedication to developing top talent and cultivating the next generation of leaders."

“Working at Methodist is more than a job, it is a calling to serve," said James C. Scoggin, Jr., Chief Executive Officer, Methodist Health System. "Our 12,000 team members are the heart of Methodist, and we are committed to nurturing their talents. There is no better path to strengthening our organization than empowering every individual to achieve their best selves.”

In compiling the list, Time collaborated with data firm Statista to analyze the résumés of nearly 5,000 of the most influential leaders in the U.S., representing the worlds of healthcare, business, government, academia, and society.

Johns Hopkins Medicine, Duke University Health System, and Cleveland Clinic were among the healthcare organizations that joined Methodist on the list.

“At Methodist, we are proud to be recognized among America’s Best Companies for Future Leaders,” said Pam Stoyanoff, President and Chief Operating Officer, Methodist Health System. “It is our employees and leaders that make Methodist one of the best places to work in healthcare, and we are honored to invest in their development."

Methodist is committed to growing the healthcare leaders of tomorrow through its comprehensive leadership academy. This dedication extends to all levels with leadership intensive series, new leader orientation, online and on-demand courses, instructor-led training, and extensive resources fostering growth across the organization. The emerging leaders program, designed for employees with high potential, has been instrumental in placing nearly 50% of graduates into leadership roles after completing the program.

“Healthcare is about people, and at Methodist we are blessed to work with remarkable individuals who embody our mission of service every single day,” said Alen Brcic, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. “Methodist continually encourages all of our employees to aim high, focus on their growth, and reimagine what is possible so that they can grow into the leadership roles of tomorrow.”
