DALLAS — Methodist Health System is proud to be certified by Great Place To Work for a second year in a row. The prestigious certification is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working for Methodist.
Among those surveyed:
-- 91% said they were made to feel welcome when they joined the team
-- 89% said they felt a sense of pride at what Methodist has accomplished
“Being certified as a Great Place To Work for the second year in a row is especially meaningful because it reflects the voices of our people,” said James C. Scoggin, Jr., Chief Executive Officer at Methodist. “Comparing our results to last year, we have improved as an organization across all domains because our team members continue to elevate our culture. All 12,000-plus of us are always working diligently to grow, become better, and live out our purpose every single day.”
Great Place To Work is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention, and increased innovation.
“This recognition from Great Place To Work validates the work we continue to do to listen to our employees and act on what matters most to them,” said Pam Stoyanoff, President and Chief Operating Officer at Methodist. “This certification reinforces what we strive for every day – creating an environment where people feel welcomed, valued, and proud of the work they do.”
The certification is the most definitive “employer-of-choice” recognition that companies can aspire to achieve. It is the only recognition based entirely on what employees report about their workplace experience – specifically, how consistently they experience a high-trust workplace.
“Our teams show up with purpose, resilience, and heart, and this recognition is a testament to the consistency and intentionality behind the Methodist employee experience,” said Alen Brcic, SVP and Chief Human Resources Officer at Methodist. “From leadership development to growth opportunities and a culture of belonging, we are committed to creating a workplace where people can thrive personally and professionally – because that is the Methodist way.”
Great Place To Work certification is recognized worldwide by employees and employers alike and is the benchmark for identifying and recognizing outstanding employee experience. Every year, more than 10,000 companies across 60 countries apply to get Great Place To Work-certified.
"Great Place To Work certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience," said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work. “It is evident that Methodist stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees."
According to Great Place To Work research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a certified great workplace.
