1st Day of Summer Event Starts the Season Right at Methodist Charlton

groupThe 1st Day of Summer event at Methodist Charlton Medical Center gave women a healthy dose of fun and education. Attendees learned how to do fun summer exercises and how to choose the perfect fruits and vegetables, breathe healthily, keep skin healthy, prepare nutritious meals, and live a stress-free life in the summertime. Presenters included representatives from the Fitness Center and Fit Zone at Methodist Charlton, the Environmental Protection Agency, and Sprouts Famers Market in Cedar Hill, along with Chef Cassondra Armstrong and physicians Dornechia Carter, MD, and Jill Waggoner, MD, both of whom are on the Methodist Charlton medical staff.
