Golf Tournament Nets $14K for Methodist Charlton Heart and Vascular Institute

charltonCedar Hill Chamber of Commerce presented proceeds from the recent CardioShack Open Golf Tournament in the amount of $14,311.45 to Methodist Charlton Medical Center. The proceeds will benefit the Methodist Charlton Heart and Vascular Institute. Accepting the check from Cedar Hill Chamber Treasurer Michael Lemmon; and Cedar Hill Chamber Executive Director/CEO Amanda Skinner, were Methodist Charlton President Jonathan S. Davis, FACHE; Vice President Kendall Huff; Cardiology Services Director Ingrid Kindipan; Chief of Cardiology Roberto Wayhs, MD, and cardiology nurse Danielle Martin.

Methodist Charlton Medical Center and the Cedar Hill Chamber of Commerce partnered to hold the golf tournament, proceeds from which will also benefit Cedar Hill Chamber programs. The partnership brought in a full field of golfers and a great audience for businesses promotion as well as a show of community support. The golf tournament was held at the Golf Club of Dallas. The exciting day included lunch and a shotgun start followed by a 19th Hole reception and silent auction.
