Methodist Charlton Volunteer Director Named to "Top 40 Business Leaders Under Forty"

womanSarah Drew-Watson, director of volunteer services at Methodist Charlton Medical Center, was recently named one of the “Top 40 Business Leaders Under Forty” award recipients by the Lancaster Area Chamber of Commerce. The award was created to identify people 40 years of age and under who are at the center stage in our communities, working hard to drive the economy and demonstrating dynamic leadership. As director of volunteer services, Drew-Watson continuously shows innovation, outstanding people skills, and leadership skills, particularly when working with the Methodist Charlton Auxiliary. Under her leadership, the Auxiliary has grown from six members to 45 paid members, and from raising a few thousand dollars to raising over $17,000. Proceeds benefit several hospital programs, such as the Life Shines Bright Centering Pregnancy and the Heart and Vascular Institute, and the purchase of respiratory therapy equipment at Methodist Charlton.
