DALLAS — Methodist Health System is proud to announce it has once again been honored among the most military-friendly workplaces nationwide, receiving a Gold designation as a 2026 Military Friendly Employer, as well as a Military Spouse Friendly Employer designation.

These honors reflect Methodist’s ongoing commitment to creating meaningful employment pathways, supportive workplace culture, and career opportunities for veterans, active-duty service members, and military spouses.

“These recognitions go beyond accolades – they represent our enduring commitment to those who have served our nation and their families,” said James C. Scoggin, Jr., Chief Executive Officer at Methodist. “Service members truly represent the best among us, and we at Methodist are better for having them as part of our family.”

The Military Friendly Employer Gold designation is awarded to organizations that demonstrate excellence in recruitment, retention, and advancement strategies for military talent. The Military Spouse Friendly Employer designation highlights companies that implement best-in-class programs designed to recruit, develop, and retain military spouses – a group historically challenged by frequent relocations and career disruption.

• Key highlights of Methodist’s military workforce initiatives include:

• Continued expansion of veteran-oriented recruitment pipelines and career development programs

• Targeted retention and professional growth resources for military spouses

Enhanced partnerships with service organizations and community groups supporting transitioning service members

“Supporting veterans and military spouses aligns with our values and culture,” said Pam Stoyanoff, President and Chief Operating Officer at Methodist. “We are growing these programs because military-affiliated professionals strengthen the care we deliver and make Methodist a better place to be a part of.”

Methodist’s recognitions are part of an annual evaluation that Military-Friendly conducts using comprehensive criteria, including public data, employer-provided responses, and evidence of meaningful policies and practices.

These distinctions place Methodist among a select group of organizations nationally that demonstrate leadership in military recruitment and workplace support.

“Veterans and military spouses bring leadership, adaptability, and a deep commitment to service – qualities that strengthen our culture and the care we provide,” said Alen Brcic, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Methodist. “Being recognized again as a Military Friendly and Military Spouse Friendly employer reflects our commitment to ensuring they feel valued, supported, and empowered to build meaningful careers here.”
