The Breast Center at Methodist Richardson Medical Center

The Breast Center at Methodist Richardson Medical Center offers advanced breast disease and cancer screening services, including 3-D mammography and 3-D stereotactic-guided breast biopsies.

Some of the services offered within the Breast Center:

• Screening mammograms
• Diagnostic mammograms
• Breast ultrasounds
• Ultrasound-guided biopsy
• Stereotactic-guided biopsy
• Breast MRI
• Screening Breast Ultrasound for Dense Breasts
• Fine needle aspirations
• Bone density tests
• Localizations (Savi Scout and Pintuition)

Breast cancer treatment services offered by our program:

• Breast Surgery – lumpectomy, mastectomy, breast reconstruction/plastic surgery
• Medical Oncology – Chemotherapy, Endocrine therapy, Hormonal Therapy, Immunotherapy
• Radiation Therapy

Supportive care services offered by our program for breast cancer patients:

• Social work services, including mental health counseling
• Outpatient nutrition services
• Physical and occupational therapy, including lymphedema therapy
• Ongoing nurse navigation services during treatment and into survivorship
