Associates in Surgical Acute Care (ASAC) is the surgical practice that supports the Charles A. Sammons Trauma and Critical Care Tower at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. All surgeons are fellowship trained in Surgical Critical Care and staff the medical center's level 1 Trauma Center, one of only three emergency departments in Dallas that provide adult trauma care.
Associates in Surgical Acute Care is owned and operated by MedHealth/Methodist Medical Group and staffed by independently practicing physicians who are employees of MedHealth/Methodist Medical Group. The physicians and staff who provide services at these sites are not employees or agents of Methodist Health System or any of its affiliated hospitals.
