Baby Care Class - 3 hours
Mothers and their support person will learn the basics of caring for their newborn.
Topics discussed:
• Newborn characteristics
• Newborn appearance
• Safe sleep
• How to bathe, swaddle, and diaper your baby
• Methods for comforting and soothing
Cost: $10
Registration includes both mother and one support person. The week of your class, you will receive an email with instructions about class location and parking. If you have questions about prenatal classes, please contact the Perinatal Education Coordinator at 214-947-1160. Classes are free for MHS employees.
