About this event
At Methodist Dallas, we believe the best birth is an informed and supported one. This class is designed for mothers and their support person to learn about all types of birth and birth options. It provides a comprehensive overview of the labor and birth experience.
Topics discussed include:
• Stages of labor
• Comfort measures
• Anesthesia and medication options
• Supporting physiologic birth
• Cesarean birth
• Postpartum care
• A tour of Women’s services (attending a separate hospital tour is not necessary)
Cost: $25
Registration includes both the mother and one support person. The week of your class, you will receive an email with instructions about class location and parking.

Payment for this class reserves 2 seats in class - one for mom and one for her partner/guest. Dress comfortably and bring snacks and drinks to class, if desired.
