About Wisam Nachawati, DO

Wisam “Sam” Nachawati, DO, began his journey in the medical field in 2005, initially as a physician assistant. After 10 fulfilling years in practice, Dr. Nachawati was inspired to pursue his ultimate dream of serving his patients as a family medicine physician. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Physician Assistant Studies degrees from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He later attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine to earn his medical degree. Following graduation, Dr. Nachawati completed his Family Medicine Residency through Baylor University Medical Center.

Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Nachawati has a special interest in joint injections. He also treats common ailments, such as, diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and addresses women’s health issues.

Outside of work, Dr. Nachawati enjoys reading, yard work, car stereo systems, and theatre. Originally from Beirut, Lebanon, Dr. Nachawati came to the United States with his family at the start of middle school. He is fluent in Arabic, English, and Spanish.
