About Usama A. Daimee, MD

Usama Daimee, MD, is a full-scope clinical cardiac electrophysiologist with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders using both non-invasive and invasive methods. He specializes in procedures including catheter ablation of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, left atrial appendage occlusion, cardiac device implantation, and transvenous lead extraction. He is passionate about providing personalized, state-of-the-art cardiac arrhythmia care to all patients. Dr. Daimee joined Methodist Cardiovascular Consultants at Dallas in 2025.

Dr. Daimee received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. He served as an AmeriCorps member in Detroit, Michigan before earning his medical degree at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College. Dr. Daimee completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York, where he also finished an additional clinical research fellowship in cardiac arrhythmias.

Dr. Daimee’s fellowship in cardiovascular disease, which included extensive research work through an NIH-funded T32 program, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship were completed at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He has published several manuscripts, with his research focusing on clinical outcomes associated with cardiac devices and catheter ablation procedures. Dr. Daimee is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society.

Dr. Daimee calls Michigan home and is enjoying North Texas. He has been practicing medicine since 2013.
